Committee: Conference

Members must coordinate with all other committees to ensure tasks are accomplished.

Tasks that the conference committee is responsible for are:

  • Choosing a venue for the next conference
  • Negotiating contract with venue
  • Determine your vision and theme
  • Correspond with Hotel contact to ensure plans are on schedule
  • Hold monthly conference board meetings
  • Find and contract presenters and vendors
  • Source promotional item for NYSRA to sell at conference
  • Create promotional pieces to disseminate to membership
  • Coordinate with Phone Tree, Membership committees,
  • Print, copy all correspondence for presenters
  • Create Conference Program
  • Create conference folders for all registrants
